Roy Morales For for Congress, Texas 29th District

I would like to thank the Jewish Herald-Voice for endorsing me for Congressional District 29.

I would like to thank the Harris County Primary Candidates Committee for allowing me to interview. I scored 100% positive of the interviewer’s impression for Congressional District 29. The next closes opponent recieved only a 57% positive rating. My message is the strongest message of all of the CD 29 candidates. I have the professional, business and government experience to beat Gene Green in November. I am the only candidate that can beat Gene.

In an attempt to disguise his own lack of experience, Eric Story turned to libelous allegations against Roy Morales, a 23 year retired Lt. Colonel and highly decorated veteran. Morales who holds three degrees…B.A. Psychology (Summa Cum Laude), B.S. Computer Science, and a Masters in Space Operations has been under attack by Eric Story who does not identify whether if he has a college degree or not.

Morales has extensive professional experience that is well documented and can be cited during his tenure in the United States Air Force. He is DOD certified to direct multi-billion dollar programs and has led multi-billion dollar projects for the U.S. Air Force. As well, in joint operations with the Air Force and NASA, Roy was a former Chief, Space Shuttle Operations Team and brings with him a unique background that is both technical and administrative. Roy has been recognized by the City of Houston and additionally with his prior military experience as a Homeland Security Expert (City of Houston City Employee Evaluation) In fact, Morales crafted the Information Warfare Planning Order on the Global War on Terrorism. Mr. Story has never served in the military nor has he ever held the top secret security clearances Morales has. It is unfortunate that Story has stooped to such lows to try and malign an individual who served his country honorably and with distinction and who has an extraordinary professional background that reflects his ability to lead in the U.S. Congress.

As well, Morales understands the issues facing the citizens of District 29. He is the only conservative that can beat Gene Green in November. Roy’s commitment to serving the people is demonstrated not only by his military background, but also by his service to the Harris County Department of Education as an elected Trustee.

It is truly unfortunate that Mr. Story does not deal with plain facts and is taking the route that so many in Washington are known for these days and that is boldly lying. Get back to the issues Mr. Story instead of going after veterans.
